I corrected my mistake in my Sea Glass quilt, sewed the backing and then picked up another quilt off my pile of UFOs and sewed that backing too!
I totally LOVE a stack of tops and backing. Especially a stack I've decided to send to my good friends Cindy and Dennis to quilt for me... ahhhh.. success!
I want to show you what I did on Sea Glass. All those seams might cause my longarmer's problems with popping. I could have sewn around it to secure. But I thought I'd try something else
I sewed a strip around the whole outside. When it comes back I'm going to trim that down to a SMALL inner strip then bind it. I am hoping it gives the effect of floating or an inner binding.
Have you ever done this?
The other quilt is my red/white version of Crush. I added the HST border to it.
The Pattern is HERE for instant download! (it's aqua and red on the pattern cover)

What are you working on? Leave me a comment!
Next up for me is that quilt that hardly needs ANYTHING to be done
These have been confessed ... shared so far
