Time to share my block 5 & 6 of the free Snapshots patterns to support St. Judes that with the Fat Quarter Shop!
I decided 2015 was my year to do another charity piece to benefit an organization. When I saw that the Fat Quarter shop is again hosting a sew along to raise funds for St. Jude's I knew this was the one I would do.
For the quilt along, the patterns will be available for FREE download each month around the 15th on the Fat Quarter Shop blog.
I had a TON of fun making the apron with my word fabric my Moda line called 'The Sweet Life'. After adding the pocket i thought it really needed a bit of embroidery. I used deep red Aurfil 12 wt to stem stitch a freehand heart!
I'm IN LOVE with this look.. now I need an apron out of my fabric!
Here are all 4 blocks so far, oh my gosh I'm loving this! I hope it bring a LOT of money when we do the raffle..

The best part about this quilt along is raising money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. For every pattern downloaded, Fat Quarter Shop is encouraging a $5 donation to St. Jude to help advance cures for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment.
Fat Quarter Shop and Moda Fabrics are matching all donations up to $10,000!
And I asked my good friends Cindy and Dennis of PinkPaw studio if they would partner with me to quilt my quilt and we will be auctioning it to raise even more money at the end of the year. That means you can bid and win my quilt!
