Are you ready to sew Block 2 of my quilt The Sweet Life?
A Tisket A Tasket, I've always loved a Basket! And one filled with flowers is EVEN better! I started my first garden in High School. I bought plants for my room from the huge market in down town Brussels. Then I planted flowers outside and even did a small vegetable garden.
Remember I'm a City Girl, NOBODY gardened in my family, not my parents, grandparents or great grandparents. It was something I just love to do!
I want to tell you a bit about thread color. I often select an Aurifil 50wt thread color that perfectly matches my applique shape, or comes close. You can't even see the navy can you?
I had a questions about placement. The blocks are appliqued to squares in a straight setting. See page 5 of my pattern to see how the blocks look.
