I now have all the blocks for my Red Version of my pattern "CRUSH"
My Red Rock Crush ready to sew up!
Remember I asked about the LARGE dot or SMALL dots? (in the making at this link)...
I decided to use both, why not!
My pattern is inspired by an antique quilt block I saw, but i made it MUCH easier to sew.. like WAY easier and fast!
I pulled mostly red and red/white prints, including my coveted out of print Lobster fabric which I may .. or may not.. have yardage of.
So love this with the BIG polka dots! And the Red is my fabric line.
And a few more... so fun to see this quilt come together!!!
It's the kind where you get super excited as you sew each unit together, then a block appears, then another...
Are you like me, and want to sew more and more as they get done?
As I cut off the excess from the Sew and Flip star points, I made bonus 2.5" hst units
They are SO ADORABLE in all their dottie goodness!
Ta-da! What do you think? I love alternating the small and large dots. That just makes it for me!
Now I'm thinking of a 2.5" wide outer border of large dots. Then add a border of the HST bonus units... Then I can get it quilted and cuddle under it
What do you like my Crush Pattern?
