Thank you for ALL the wonderful suggestions for which fabrics to use for my Aurifil Mini! I so wanted to do red and white, Gudrun's is pefect!
I went another direction, just to be different!
Here is my mini, i really love it! If you are afraid to do a mini i have some tips
- Cut carefully
- Sew slowly
- Press after EACH SEAM and be sure it is pressed open perfectly.
- Sew Slowly
- Measure your units so they are correct at each stop.
- have fun!
The next decision is do I quilt it with lovely 12 wt Aurifil? Or do I save the block and set all the mini's into one quilt? I think I'll wait until I see a few more and decide!
