People are collecting fabrics for my Free Mystery BOM "Vacation Time" and sharing what they have found at my online group, and it's not always for my project, you know how that goes!!
Well Faye shared a Paris fabric and I about fainted, it was SO CUTE!
Guess what arrived at my house, both colorways! Does Faye know me or what?? This is a Waverly print, and it's regular weight cotton, perfect... do you know why?
First I love the balance of color. It's on white background, both colorways have black with green.
The red rolls the red color from flowers, to houses, to the bench and other touches. In the Blue there is also a tan.
The images are what just makes my heart flutter. I have been to Paris a few times and I will never tire of those memories. The Eiffel tower is as spectacular as you imagine it will be.
The parks are as beautiful as you hope, and the people are chic, yes, very chic!
The little girl just steals my heart, how totally adorable! Reminds me of Madeline Books.. do you remember those?
And the bike! My bike pattern is out of print right now and I need to redo it and publish it again.. soon soon!
So let's pick some fabric! I want to show off the images in nice large sections. I'm thinking big squares and rectangles. Maybe frame them, maybe just set other fabrics in-between.
