Love Log Cabins (& this year have added Churn Dash too)...Your version of Log Cabin is Awesome! Definitely modern, by traditional enough for diehards too :)

barbara woods

I love the quilt block bible

Has to be the Nested Churn Dash, but I also love Grandmother's Flower Garden, Grandmother's Fan, Log Cabin, Lemoyne Star.

I like pinwheels and any kind of star block. I'm a beginner so I haven't done anything fancy yet!

I have to admit that my favorite is whatever I am working on at the time. I do have a weakness for lexis and pinwheels though.

Jane brown

Log cabins because they are so versatile in their settings. And I like how mindless the piecing is once you have a center selected.

Nine patches are just so versatile!

I love the nine-patch. You can do so many things with it!

D. Meredith

I've recently learned to sew curves, so I've been doing some Drunkard's Path variations. Love your log cabin.

Aimée Regina Vaassen

I adore log cabin quilts. They remind me of a quilt my grandma let me help her put together (she let me group the colored pieces), all the fabric had been used from clothing belonging to my grandparents. It was really sweet.

Mary Ann Harpe

No true favorite blocks but I love star blocks in any form. Mary Ann

Love churn dash, so much potential as classic or modern quilt design.

For paper piece I love NY Beauty, for other I love the Churn Dash

Linda Perry

I like star blocks in all their versions. Right now I'm hand quilting my first full size log cabin quilt.

Gail Smith

I love the Dresden Plate block since it combines both piecing and applique.

I don't have a favorite block yet. I have enjoyed each one I've made because I learn something new each time. So I guess what I'm working on at the time is my favorite. Lol!!

My favorite quilt block is anything appliqued.
