My featured friends today are Barb Groves and Mary Jacobson are the sisters of "Me and My Sister" and I love them dearly! One show I was at working in a booth, and they also had a booth.. we started chatting and decided we all had to have dinner together, this was AFTER Mary had already decided she was not leaving her room. We hired a cab to drive us 2 blocks to the restaurant, AND then take us back! I had so much fun getting to know them and when we all taught in South Africa it was a blast! GOOD friends!

When she asked for our favorite quilts ... 2 popped into our minds immediately!
They are both very different but reflect both our styles!
Mary's favorite quilt is our "Twinkle Twinkle" quilt. Many of our quilts are fast and easy but this one appeals to Mary's more advanced side. She actually designs all our quilts and has designed this one without any "Y" seams or paper piecing. It's actually one of my favorites too.
It's made using our "Hubba Hubba" fabric collection that's in the stores now.
She hopes to hang this one in her sewing room someday when we take it off the trunk show circuit.

My favorite quilt is from our "Simply Cakes" pattern. There are 3 different quilts in this pattern booklet but my favorite is #3! I love simple quilts and pre cuts so this one fits my style perfectly. I use piecing for relaxation and don't really like to sew complicated things.
There are so many quilts to make and so little time! I like fast but also want some style! This quilt was made with a layer cake from our "Twirl" collection.
