Ever since I saw Katarina's designs I've been smitten.. and meeting her in person was just THE BEST . She is as adorable as she looks and her wonderful husband came with her. This was their first trip to America and they stopped in NYC first.. WAY to go! You will see more amazing things from her I'm sure!

One of the two new kids on the block for fabric companies is the Cotton + Steel team! They have done an amazing job getting the word out about their new company with RJR fabrics. These 5 ladies are the design team. Melody, on the far left, is the founder and I interviewed on Oct 28, 2013 click over to my podcast page to listen online! http://www.creativetalknetwork.com/

I MEANT to get some super cool photos of their booth.. and I THOUGHT I had.. but instead all I seem to have gotten is shot of the chair waiting for someone... epic fail on my photo taking ... I'm sure they have some photos on their site!
The other new kid on the block is Penny Rose. Like Cotton + Steel this is sub-company. This time with Riley Blake (I snagged this photo from the Penny Rose blog)... they have a super lineup of fabrics too!

I'll end my Quilt Market posts with a Party! First I have to say the weather this time was challenging. It rained A LOT and I had to walk IN the rain.. A LOT.. so this means the river was high the night of the boat ride.
We took school buses over to another spot to board the boats.. have you BEEN in a school bus lately?
Pittsuburgh by water.. by night...
