My Favorite thing in the whole world to do is try out fabric combos... it makes me so happy to see what fabric does when you put it next to each other!
My very talented friend Jane at QuiltJane designed an awesome Nested Churndash pattern. She knows the Churndash is my favorite block of ALL TIME ... really of ALL TIME. I have one in my official first quilt sampler and I've been in love with it ever since.
Jane is going to host a Sew Along and asked a group of us to join her, SO EXCITED!
So let's decide what set of fabric I'm going to use.. shall we?
First know that I AM using the camera fabric.. it is not an option to ditch it.. so go with me my friends!! I want to play with a color combo I've not used lately and work it around the Camera's. Because I LOVE a good fabric challenge
And remember ... it's JUST FABRIC..
I posted these on Instagram and Facebook... your comments are amazing
Option 1 with yellow
It seems some of you do not LIKE yellow
What?????
ok.. another
Option 2 with burnt orange .. similar to what is in the camera fabric
I kind of like this one
but it's also kind of
Yawn.....
Predictable.
Let's try mixing it up
Option 3 a mix
some orange
Some yellow
And I have a surprise fabric to throw in there .
But you'll have to wait for my Hop day June 11!
