Roseann did a banner swap with a Halloween theme a few years ago (which by the way I was NOT invited to... mmmm).. and she has always loved her banner. So she asked me what I thought about a Valentine banner swap.

Roseann asked 5 friends (me ... finally.. just saying...) and we were assigned a letter. The banner size.. and it could be done in any medium
ANY.... like Paper, Fabric... whatever

here are some of my tools.. fueled by the Hello Kitty tin that Pam Kitty Morning sent out... (swoon worthy mail day)
I have washi tape, and pompoms, and chevron ribbons, and cute tags!
Sorry but I TOTALLY zoned out on step by step directions.. but here are the basics and I have the pattern for you to download at the end of this post!
1- Trace 2 fabric banners (seam allowance is included)
2- Fuse some fusible fleece to the backside of the BACKING banner
3- Layer the front and back right sides together.
4- Turn right side out and PRESS WELL
5- Fuse your heart and letter to the front
6 - Blanket stitch around the heart and letter
7- Top stitch around the whole banner, that also closes the opening.
8- EMBELLISH! I top stitched the pompoms ... let's just say that was NOT my favorite part .. but it's so cute I had to do it!

That black dot is COTTON Washi Tape.. be still my heart they are so cute!
I used Aurifil 12 wt thread to sew on the buttons and chevron ribbons.. plus everyone had a charm and bling.. love the little bling!
Suzanne's banner is just perfect in the middle
I think she has the award for the most weighty banner.. it's like a prize ribbon...
