I thought you might like an update on the studio rearranging... it has been interesting.. after months of thinking about how to make my space 'bigger'.. we opted for keeping it in the family room and rearranging the furniture. I will do a whole post on what I did later this week, but I need some help finding something.
I bought these trays with lids. The lids don't clamp, but I love the trays to store my Aurifil thread.
I have them by color and thread weight, and now that I have a wee bit more storage space, I want more trays.
But I can't remember where I got them. I THINK I got them at the container store, but it was years ago. Anyone know where they came from? Do you know if I can get more, even if they are black or white?
Thank you!!!
UPDATE - Sylvia found them on Amazon for me, I have the BEST friends! CLICK HERE For the Romanoff Letter Box Red
I have NOT shown you which fabric I picked to do Michele's Delightful Stars (CLICK HERE to see that post. ) Remember I had a bunch of options? And everyone gave an opion? Well I picked the subway fabric that is from City Quilting in NYC to make Gregg a quilt. Don't tell him ok? He doesn't read my blog so he won't know
Some of the fabric I have is in big patterns I don't want to cut up, so there will be sections like this of Michele's pattern where i don't do all the piecing (I'm such a rebel!)
ok, true confession.. I am going to do TWO of these quilts, but at my OWN pace...
For the 2nd quilt I picked my paris and building fabrics. I've been dying to use this pin Eiffel town fabric and THIS IS IT! The project I will use it in! Pink, brown cream and some green for spring!
Once again there is a LOT of fabric with big images so I'll do my own thing in the big centers. And I have these GREAT map fabrics to put in.
What do you think? I'm pretty excited to play around with them!

And... this is the first section of my Birthday Blocks where I auditioned the sashing fabrics. I pinned sashing fabrics where I thought they will be needed to kick off the sewing of this section.
And here it is sewn together! I decide on TONS of dot fabrics with some grey and aqua tonal prints. I SO LOVE IT. I shared it in my newsletter too.. CLICK HERE if you missed the last newsletter.
So my dear friends.. this is what my Sunday is like so far... now I'm off to do some serious sewing... and I'll pop in at my Facebook group and my online Quilt Bee... What did you sew this weekend?
