For the last blocks in a Mystery like this I really work on fabric placement. What is missing.. what do I need more of... what will the last block look like (good news on that front.. I'm designing it!)
First I pull out the blocks
And I put them on the design wall
Then I get out the fabrics so I can see what I need to use
The piles are getting smaller by block 11!
I scrunch up the fabric looking for best color placements before I cut anything.
Then I do cut some.... for an audition!
Which do you think I'll pick?
A... or B.....
Option A won!
And the Family Portrait... they are looking so great together! Perfect for me to use in my studio on chilly winter days (and nights at the computer)
Yep.. this one I'm going to use!
