I had a few more blocks arrive today and I just HAD to put them up on the wall! Two were large 12" blocks, so that meant a bit of rearranging.
First was one from Mary Val. She wrote that the block is a free paperpieced pattern called "Icky Thump" .. CLICK HERE for the block. It's a super nice PP pattern, this block made of 4 sections. Did you listen to my chat with Carol Doak about paper piecing on Monday? Catch up here
The other was from my good friend Kim at http://gogokim.blogspot.com/ She told me she was sending a block... well a BOX came! I was texting her saying that is some FAT BLOCK .. LOL!
Inside I about died from joy... You know the feeling you get when someone REALLY gets you? They know what you are about? That is Kim... she sent a improvisational block made with my Bobbin's and Bits.. then popcorn (that I am nutty about)... and a box of other tiny goodies that really mean something to ME. With the additonal bocks, and several being large size, I rearranged!
What do you think... AWESOME right?? I can hardly stop looking at the blocks.. they are amazing!
