I thought you might enjoy seeing some of my audition process. THIS is why you need a design wall. I tacked up ALL my backgrounds. Then got a 'working stack' of fabric. If you have taken any of my workshops on design, you know we talk a lot about auditioning our fabric and how to do it.
The 7th block is the sunflowers!! OH HOW I LOVE Sunflowers! They show up a lot in my work. One of my favorite parts is the basket fabric. Want to see the quilting up close?

Here is the whole quilt. The book has 2 colorways in it, and they have 2 differnt style borders.

How are you doing? Sew Alongs are a way to keep you MOVING.. even if you just trace shapes one day, the fuse or pick fabric another... keep it moving day after day ...
