Do you want to see a 'Behind the Scenes' of my 'photo shoot'? Well tomorrow we fly to Portland for the trade show and I've been busy getting all the things ready to show the shop owners! My new Pattern covers are one of those super important things that had to be completed. I have FOUR new patterns that will be avaialable in early July. I showed you Crush HERE... let's see Pop!
First... my classy 'photo taking apron'. I put my phone in a pocket, my pins and clips are stuck on here... scissors too... it works so well!
We had some REALLY sunny days during the shoot. Which is often not the BEST lighting.
Loads of green color reflecting up onto the quilts, Gregg (the Shipping Dept) was trying to correct that with white posterboards reflecting up
LOTS of white poster boards
But in the end we moved to another area to work
I ended up holding white poster boards ABOVE the quilt to reflect down some white light so the green was lessened. my arms were KILLING me...
also note that the lovely looking 'dappled' light sucks for photo shoots! another reason I was holding posterboards!
I may consider converting my living room into a photo studio twice a year for pattern shoot day!
I played around with putting my new Garden Angel in the photo. But in the end she didn't work out as I had hoped. I got her when we went to New Orleans after Christmas.. I love her!.. but i digress!
Let's get a close up of my new pattern "Pop!" ..remember this will be available in early July.. can't wait to make it in a second color way from my new fabric line!
I had such fun quilting the vines and leaves.

I have 4 new patterns and each one I have 2 versions of the quilt to show plus some extra stuff like runners and pillows. Some quilts were quilted by me. Half by Cindy of Pink Paw Studio and half by Shelly of Prairie Moon Quilts They both do excellent jobs if you are looking to have some quilts done!
AND the winners from the last giveaways are
Marie Bostwick's new Book went to Dianna said "oooooouuuuuuu......my favorite book of all time has changed from time to time over the years. not sure I can answer this. It has to be Gone With the Wind....all time favorite. Although for a long time it was The Old Man and the Sea (which I still love with all my heart). But, it's Gone With the Wind that still sits on my shelf! Love you strips!"
My Fabric prize went to Peg who said "My favorite novel of all time is still the classic "The Secret Garden". I can't tell you how many times I've read that book, and each time I do I find something new in it. Love it, and love all you do - thank you Pat!"
And the Sew Mama Sew giveway Pocket insert went to Holly who said "My favorite bag style tends to be a small, hand bag. But I would love that insert for larger bags, and have been tempted to get the pattern..."
