I've been wanting to try the wonder clip since I posted THIS.. and the other day I finally did! I opened all the packages, got out the clips, put them in a pretty bowl (because I'm a quilter.. that's what we do).. then took a good look at them. Today I ran away from work... skipped out... called in a mental health day... do you think my boss was on to me? (ha!..) I ran away with this lovely girl... Miss Go Go Kim (http://gogokim.blogspot.com)! We both live 45 to 55 min from Ikea (depending on traffic) in exact opposite directions.. so Ikea is the PERFECT spot to meet! Pat Sloan: Let's Go Sew!

I've wanted to make a quilt for the Quilt Alliance auction for YEARS.. and it never happened. This weekend I decide to JUST DO IT! The challenge is a 20" square quilt with the theme of 20. I did a basic layout and knew I still had some work to do. I'm creating this one 'as I go'. Pat Sloan: sometimes you need a sewing helper

Sometimes you JUST need a sewing helper. Maybe someone to rip out things sewn wrong. Or someone to do some basting...maybe a person to cut for you? Well today I need a little different help. The food kind... the REALLY GOOD food kind I'm doing some MAJOR mindless sewing. Sewing 2.5" squares for endless borders on my Traffic jam quilt.. And I have a super big craving for....
