To say that when I quilt... I keep it REAL is... well it's truly an under-statement some days.. like TODAY!
I am on a crunch to have quilts made for the trade show with my new fabric line "Bobbin's and Bits" CLICK HERE TO SEE IT... yum! oh.. I digress!
So I'm freemotion quilting and something seems a bit ...mmmm.. how should I describe it? A bit FIRMER than it should be.
I am using one of the teflon sheet so that I have a 'slicker' surface to slide the quilt on
But something has gone a BIT WRONG today
Yep... It shifted and I SEWED IT TO MY QUILT!
With TINY STITCHES.. Bleh! This is WORSE than sewing fabric and batting to it
RIP and CUT...
There.. that fixed it.
A slightly larger hole won't hurt anything.
I did notice that the back had accumulated a lot of dust... so it wasn't 'sticking' to the table. Washed that off and was ready to continue....
BUT I did need to take a break.. it's a bit annoying and difficult to get that off and .. well.. I had to get my freemotion MOJO back!
What crazy sewing thing have YOU done?
