What is the oldest piece of fabric in YOUR stash? Do you still love it? I have a few oldies but goodies.. and this 'group' of them has been waiting and waiting for me to do something with it.
Here is it.. the floral is "Kleo" by Alexander Henry.. and I've had it a LONG time and I STILL love it.
Paired it with that black polka dot and the gold years ago and still love this combo.
So today.. I cut it up... well not much.. but I have a plan! I want to big stitch quilt around the flowers as a whole. So this floral will be the center, with the yellow then the black polka dots. And it will hang in my studio where all things are going to be red/white/black.. oh.. and some yellow. but not much yellow.. know what I mean?
So how old?
There you go.. 2005! AND I STILL love it! I am going to use this bit on the label.
