Pat Sloan: A Birdie Told me AND a peek

The BEST quilters in the WORLD hang out with me! Seriously you all ROCK my world with how generous and fun you are! The other day I put out the call that I was looking for these birdie clips.

For some reason when I bought a package last year I only bought ONE package.. WHAT??? They are so stinkin cute that one is NOT enough to do ANYTHING with!  In steps the BEST quilters in the WORLD!

Erin found some for me and so did Karen....

Karen... she hit the motherlode! Karen filled up this box for birdie clips and sent them all to me! WHAT a sweetie pie she is! So what do we use birdie clips for? FIRST we should ALWAYS have cute thing.. no ugly clips here at Camp Sloanie.

I'm going to use them to hang items, clip projects as I work on them.. and I'm sure YOU have some ideas of what cute clips can be used for. LEAVE ME A COMMENT!

Let's take a look in my studio today... a peek if you will

It has been wet and overcast since I got back from Iowa, NOT good for hauling quilts outside for photos. So I'm using my shelf unit at the moment to look at the new quilts for patterns I'm working on.

Please meet "Stitched'... yes.. it is going to be one fun quilt to do!

Pat Sloan: Oh so ready with a twist...

When we travel I do a lot of thinking, planning.... surfing (oh yeah.. TRUTH!). And I replan my life a zillion times to see what I might like to change. Do you do that?  Well I know one thing I need to change is to actually SEW MORE.. serious... I'm in a paper load mode recenlty and it's just got to stop.  So now, more than ever,  I LOVE getting an email with a photo in it.. and it's evern better if that photo is a your version of one of my designs!

and lastely I was surfing along and hit this video of making a cake.. the music and the video are so expertly paired.. I think I've watched it 5 times! And who doesn't want to remodel their home to have a rustic card cabinet filled with baking flour?
