I've been chattering about antique sewing machines ever since I took that photo of my student's candy apple red featherweight... it's TOTALLY swoon worthy material, don't you think? I've been thinking about red sewing machines and it was coveted by everyone in the class... serious serious sewing machine lust.
Truth be told... whenever I see an antique machine I go a bit nuts.. I spotted this one in a store and wanted to take the whole display home with me. I love looking at old machines
But...
to be honest... I own a 'White' Featherweight. The one in the green box.. it's very sweet.. very pretty
But...
Hang on as I'm telling the truth here.
I just don't like sewing on it!
There.. it's OUT in PUBLIC! It's an adorable machine, but give me my big Janome with all the bells and whistles any day!
