I love Nancy Drew books...but yikes, you're asking me to remember my favorite one? I can't even remember the title of the book I am reading NOW...lol...but I DO remember the BESTEST thing that ever happened re: Nancy D...I was probably around 10 or 11 and had just discovered her books...I would take them out from the public library. Then one day, I ventured into the attic...found a box of books that my sister had left behind - they were NANCY DREWS!!!!! But I must admit, my favorite book as a kid - I DO remember, but it wasn't the sleuthing gal...it was "Charlotte's Web"!

Your quilt is beautiful. I love James and the Giant Peach. It reminds me of my favorite grade school teacher and the way she read it to our class.

My favourite book was A Wrinkle in Time. I think I should find it and read it again.

Ha! That was so long ago I can't remember. However, I do remember Nate the Great which was a series I got for my children. Great books for beginning readers and Nate was a detective.

Hi, Pat ... the Nancy Drew fabrics look fabulous in your "Novel Idea."

I never owned a Nancy Drew book as a child, but I read many of them. All my books were borrowed at the local libary and I read most anything I could get my fingers on. My favorite book as a girl was "Little Women." Jo was my heroine. I lived close enough to the Alcott House that I was able to visit and tour and my parents bought me a hard copy of the book. It is still a treasure.

Thanks for sharing ... :) Pat
