Sometimes you just need to tone down a piece of fabric.
maybe it's too bright for it's friends in the quilt. Or maybe you have a group of fabrics that need to get a similar tone.
Make a pot of tea, I prefer tea to coffee
And dunk the fabric
There you go! Can you see the difference?
It's not huge but it helps. You can use rit tan dye for a similar look or overdye another color..
