Welcome to my stop on the Moda Friendship Quilt Along Hop! I am so excited about this hop as it's about friendship. And I want you to meet my closest group of buddies. Some of these girls have been my friends for almost 30 years. They have seen me through thick and thin and they are on my speed dial forever!
Say Hello to just PART of my incredible, wonderful, creative group of buddies!! We get together once a month. We'd love to meet more often but we are a jet setting group and it's hard to get us all in town at the same time!
Our main monthly meeting is in a Wegman's grocery store.. that is where we are this night. In the dining area. We bring quilts and projects and do show and tell... it's so fun! We often get a BIT LOUD so we do try and seat ourselves in the back.. near the children's section.. where loudness is encouraged...wink!
Do you know what we do when we get together? We mostly do hand work, talk, share things we have made or want to make. Progress, finishes, and tips and tricks!
Lorine showed us all how to knit with ribbon at that meeting.. isnt' that piece incredible? She also tried to show us how to crochet it with her finger as the crochet hook... we might have gotten a bit loud during that demo.
Sometimes we are able to meet a second time and then we try a different place to disrupt.. um... have dinner. Or we just hang out at Wegman's again. They don't seem to mind!
I have been visiting all the other moda designers. Joanna of FigTree is making most of the blocks! I am envious as they look so cute!

I am calling my block "Spring Planting" as I have spring on the mind.. and my line is "Eat Your Fruits and Veggies" so don't you think I really need to get the planting started? Like I'm REALLY going to plant veggies.. maybe a cherry tomato plant.... will think on this.

Oh we have a prize.. yes it's a good one! I have 2 layer cakes of my fabric ready to send to two lucky people. Now there is a bit of a snag to this. I am traveling for 3 weeks.. which means I have to either make this the shortest giveaway in the history of the universe, or leave it open for a week and mail the prizes when I get back.
