If you have not visited SewWeQuilt lately you should! I signed up for several of the blog hops. If you noticed, I sort of LIKE to hop.. wink! I think I like the hops so much as I meet new quilters who have blogs and see amazing work they are doing. It's like going to a quilt show for a few days! The SewWeQuilt hops are all about the sharing and community. Many of the same people share so it's fun to see what your favorites do with the theme of the hop.
For this hop SewWeQuilt has Marlene of Stitching by the Lake hosting. The hop challenge is to use this fun pattern from my wonderful friend, designer Amy Bradley!
The challenge was to take Amy's pattern "All ABOUT ME" and make it reflect yourself. How fun is THAT? There are some incredible "ME" quilts created by wild and bodacious quilty babes all across the internet (with more to come!) Some of the quilts have had me in TEARS they are so darn funny!
Since my word of the year is CREATE.. I took that route.
I'm changing all the things in my studio to have some red in them... pulling from my fabric line I gathered some red and black... then put it all on top of some saftey pin fabric, don't you love that? I was so tickled to be able to use it.
We ALL need to Sew More.. so I put that sign in my hand. If you are following along this year, I'm pushing the UFO evnvelope to get those moved along, moved out or finished! (CLICK HERE to see the latest posts)
Amy encouraged everyone to change up the image to look like themselves, or reflect themselves. I found this batik that reminds me of my hair color.. and added this star from my good friend Cherie Ralston!

I'm thinking of this as my 'Sewing Shrine"
It needs some more things...
