Pat Sloan almost to Houston day 2

Day 2 was beautiful again, we are always lucky when we head south at the end of October.. it's a great time to travel by car!
What I find totally interesting is what we see on the road.. what are these trees for? they are very skinny... and long.. and we see them in Mississippi and Louisiana
we went through Louisiana and I kept joking that the road rests should serve coffee and guess what .. the road stop had coffee!

the one truck stop had a retro feel and these red and white tiles were incredible, I'd love to put them in my house!
today we drive the last hour or so into Houston...and head into the show! I hear Madonna was playing last night and the Aurifil staff went.. so i won't need to get to their booth too early.. wink!
