My day was HERE.. and I asked you to tell me
""What is your town's MOST FAMOUS thing to eat? OR Best PLACE to eat?
I sure wish I had an assistant to go through the list and make up a "Best Eats" for us!! There are some amazing places left in that post. So here we go... be sure to keep going after the winner list.. I have more to share today!
Candy 1 goes to Marsha who wrote
"My hometown would be Portland, Maine and the most famous food would be LOBSTER of course. There are SO many places to get good lobster in Maine but Day's Lobster (actually right next door in the town of Yarmouth) is my favorite place to get lobster or crabmeat. Fresh, fresh, FRESH. I love Moda and Aurifil so I'm perfect for winning, right? Love Pat Sloan designs too. "
Candy 2 goes to Tisha who wrote
"Cincinnati is famous for skyline chili aka Cincinnati chili.....it's awesome...but how could you not love something with choc in it. love all your pictures makes me think of small town charm even though you live in a very populated area."
Candy 3 goes to Joye who wrote
"I just recently moved back to my hometown of Chesterfield SC after being away nearly 40 years. The town is known for a fish house restaurant named Shiloh for the area it's in. There's also a nice restaurant called the Carolina Restaurant and I enjoy their chicken and dumplings."
My Layer Cake goes to Sarah who wrote
"I live near Elmwood NE and the ONLY place in town to eat is the newly remodeled Joseph's Fitness Center's Red Cedar Lounge for subs and pizza! "
My Batik FQ Bundle goes to Cyndy who wrote
"Hi Pat! I live in Phoenixville, PA. You were just around the corner when you came to the Royersford/Spring City area this summer! Phoenixville's claim to fame is the Colonial Theatre, which was featured in the 1960s movie The Blob starring Steve McQueen! The theatre's been refurbished and each July we hold our annual "Blobfest." Stop by the snack bar at the Colonial and grab some candy and popcorn before a movie! And 2 Days before I had a giveaway with Michele's Autumn hop(details HERE)...
For that giveaway I asked "Tell me YOUR FAVORITE Fall item, and why"
My Batik Jelly roll goes to Linda in Calif who wrote
"Pat you always have the cutest designs. And fast easy methods, I really like way your fold the fabric to get it centered. My favorite fall item: being able to bake again. I don't use the oven during the summer. Now I can make roasts, casseroles and yummy desserts. "
I emailed all the winners yesterday.... thanks for playing everyone!!
