Pat Sloan Blogger's Block of the Month Lucky Last!

 

Jackie's Blogger's Block of the Month is almost done! The lucky center 13th block coming from the fabulous Sarah Fielke!

I'm afraid to say it looked like a 'bugger' when I first saw it... meaning.. you got it.. HARD!

BUT I did it.. with larger HST then trimmed them down to the corrent size

.. and I'm oh so happy with mine!!

Here is Jackie's peek at all but the middle block.. fabulous! Her background grounded the piece and it's amazing how we all used it (maybe ONE didn't use it.. but who's checking??)

Here are all my blocks set side by side like Jackie did.

BLEH! 

WHAT HAPPENED???   I was using a layer cake and a few bits of yardage. My fabric Is BUSY BUSY BUSY... so when I set it side by side it mushes and blends.

But I can correct that!

MUCH better!! I love playing with BUSY fabric. I love to see what happens when I mix up busy prints. 

There are blocks I would do over if I was planning things 'again'. But I'm not planning a second version and I'm not changing anything. I love the chaos and this will hang in my studio when done.  I'm making quilts with lots of red to put in here so that I have mostly red and white... swoon!

Have you kept up? I can't wait to see what Setting Jackie has in store for us!

The AMAZING Team at Sew4Home has taken my "Eat Your Fruits and Veggies" fabric and made up these cute placemats and napkins. SO EASY! I am a HUGE fan of making placemats and napkins to change up my dining room. Add in a table runner and the whole look changes.

Sew4Home has free patterns for the placemats that will fit a round table.

Beep Beep... back up the truck... a ROUND TABLE?

Did you KNOW I HAVE a round dining room table? I don't remember them asking me so I don't think they knew! Crazy how PERFECT this project is for me... those girls just "GET ME"... smooches to them!

Ps... I LOVE the bowls they found... anyone know where to get those.. I want the carrot!

My Vacation is over, 

We had the best time unplugging and relaxing...

I'm still working on photos ... but most are of the beach... because that is where I spent a lot of time.. wink!
