Catchy little title isn't it? WHY I buy fabric..
Well I buy it because I LIKE it... silly rabbit.. wink!

As I was putting things away from the trips I came upon my pile of fabrics I bought in Paducah. So I thought I'd share the "logic" behind it.. ha!
mmm... DID YOU REALLY think there is logic? Maybe there is!
This grouping came home because I'd like to make a quilt in THOSE reds and THOSE blues. You know them.. they have to be JUST the right tones or they are "off". I paired this picture with some vintage trim I came upon and a super cute button!
This group has more meaning... at least to me!
The yellow and dark peachy strip I own already.. and found MORE in Eleanor Burns store. Along with the campaign beach pieced in only peach. SWOON to find these older fabrics AND on sale! She was running an extra discount on PINK and they decided this was PINK!
The Grey stripe is for my antique dresden plates on grey ... not sure how it will be used but it was a great color and great price.
I'm STILL Obsessed with Aqua... trim and rick rack are vintage.
The shop owner? None other than Jim Shore's Wife.. yes THAT Jim Shore! She was delightful and her booth ROCKED!... want to see the buttons up close?
LOOK at the little owls? SO dear I had to have 2!!
Remember I said I need more shelves? Well I need them so I can do some displays in my studio.. for INSPIRATION.. don't you agree?
I blogged this Alexander Henry at the show. I had to go to Hancock's of Paducah and hunt for it ... 2 yards of home dec weight. I do believe my 'Growing up in the 70s' is being relived with this!
Found the diagonal stripe and the mustard print at Eleanor's shop. I was cracking up because the lady behind me REALLY could not 'get' the yellow print. I knew it would spark up this fabric.
So... what do I do with 2 yards of Home dec.. mod print with Bananas and Rabbits on it?
I will think of something, in the mean time I'll hang it on my wall and enjoy it!
