Today you meet Bonnie Hunter with a little behind the scenes question or two! But first you MUST KNOW that Bonnie and I might just be Twins.. except she is taller, thinner and enjoys excersize more than me. On our first trip teaching together we were roomies.. where we discovered we BOTH forgot our toothbrush AND had the same curling iron.. yep.. friends for life!
What quilt is on your bed?
The quilt is an antique top from the 1950s that I found at an antique mall --- I bordered it and quilted it up -- I love it! The pattern is "Hands All Around". I love the quirky fabrics in the blocks, definitely a scrap bagger!
What is your favorite TV show or Movie?
Favorite Movie? Somewhere in Time with Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour. I remember watching it in 1980 or 1981 and the music hit me as hard as the story did. I don't know why, I just knew I loved that movie, and that love itself was timeless.
Do you sneak cookies in bed or keep a hidden stash of chocolate the family can't find?
Okay --- I do NOT eat in bed, unless it happens that we are watching a movie -- and then it has to be popcorn!
I do have a desk drawer with a secret stash of chocolate. I'm very frugal with it -- my friend Caroline brought me a whole bag of chocolates from Belgium when she came to California in January --- I eat one piece every now and then....it's now April 30th, I just ate the LAST piece. ;c) I think just having it there and knowing it is there is all I need --- I don't feel the need to eat it all, but I could -- if I wanted to!

The coolest thing for me is that I'll finally get to go to MackinacIsland, MI to teach AT THE GRAND HOTEL in May of 2014. Much of the movie was filmed there, and I just can't wait. Some might say that their fave was "Gone with the Wind" and want to see "Twelve Oaks" in person -- but for me -- it's the Grand Hotel.
