Summer Time Quilt-ALong at the Learning Center.

But not any ole quilt along..

but a EASY PEASY It's summer and I don't want to think too HARD Quilt-ALong

And even better than that... it's so easy new quilters can follow along AND Michele is doing a tutorial for EACH BLOCK

Want a new quilt by Sept.. maybe for a CHRISTMAS GIFT???? mmmm???

The blocks will be given out each Thursday.  And we'll have 2 settings...

I FINALLY have photos loaded from quilt market.. so let's take a look!

One of the best parts about the trade show is being able to gather large groups together. I asked all the 2012 Aurifil Designer's attending the show to meet up in the Aurifil booth for a photo!

I have TWO new thread collections called "Eat Your Fruits and Veggies". I did a school house presentation on our AMAZING 2012 Design team! This is an action shot the shipping dept took. Oh I appear to be showing off my new thread.. wink!

Pat Bravo of Art Gallery Fabrics ALSO has Aurifil kits..

Alex Veronelli is in charge of all things marketing and he says "My Job is picking the Thread Color" and he is very good at that! Although he ALWAYS wears a white shirt... really.. Alex.. WHITE is NOT a color.. wink!

He is the man with the office facts.. get's the job done.. I believe he is stuffing tote bags for the shop owners!

My Quilt "Orchard Park" was hanging at the Aurifil booth the whole show. It is made with my new Moda Fabric "Eat Your Fruits and Veggies" and will be a free download when the fabric arrives in the stores (YOU HAVE asked your store to buy it.. right? My Moda page for the 411)

My good friend Lina pieced this for me and my other great friends Cindy and Dennis at Pink Paw Studio quilted it.. all in time for market... smooches to you all!

Pat Sloan ... how does that happen

On memorial day I sewed a sleeve to the quilt on the wall. I really wanted to hang this quilt from "Fast Forward Quilts" for a very long time. It has been on the back of the sofa.

When my "Medallion" book quilts came back I was sure the Navy and green quilt would hang on the wall, but it was too big... what!! So that was my motivation to get that sleeve onto the other quilt.

Hung the quilt yesterdy and it was so good to have it up on the wall (although now I wish it was a tad bigger!) 

The day was progressing well...I was moving along on radio show work.. and quilt market follow ups... went to dinner with a group of friends... THEN I came home to work on photos from quilt market.

Decided to take the ones off my phone first.. well... an hour later and I still have ONLY ONE PHOTO off the phone.  BLEH!  Several ways to get photos off the phone .. ALL cumbersome, ALL time consuming... last one was easy but it was hard to take the case of the phone.

Did you ever have night like that?

As I write this post i still have NOT taken a SINGLE PHOTO off the camera.. wrote this post instead.

alright.. back to photos.. stay tuned for my quilt market updates!
