Two updates today, because I got an idea for my Spelling bee quilt!! But first... It's ALMOST a wrap on the Charity quilt along for 2017. Block #11 with just block 12 to finish up.
I joined the Fat Quarter Shop and Moda Fabrics to sew to benefit the Make-A-Wish foundation! For each block, we encourage you to donate just $5 for the use of each pattern! Fat Quarter Shop and Moda Fabrics will match up to $20,000 of the donations raised, a goal we reached and hope to continue to raise more through the end of the year!
The Fat Quarter's shop quilt is so beautiful... soft and pretty.

By George, I believe I have a plan! Sometimes a plan takes a bit longer to formulate. I have several little people in my family so I am going to make an alphabet quilt for one of the girls. I'm using the smaller letters in Lori Holts Sewing Bee book, published by Sew Emma
The Fat Quarter shop is hosting a huge Spelling Bee sew along. Each week you can get a block assignment and can visit the designers of the week. My days are in 2018.
My plan for December is to get caught up on the ones I want to do. There are things, like apples, etc.. and lower case & upper case letters. so for now....
Here is what I have. The letter upper case F is made with this sweet little girl fabric from my friend Amy!
I love the green/ blue aqua colors.. I may keep all the blocks in those colors.
