Thank you for interviewing Helen. I will look into her Applique paper for making hexagons. I tried EPP using cardstock templates and I admit I didn't have the patience to take them all out. I'm hoping her technique will make the hexagon-making less tedious. BTW, my family and I are going again to Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado. We enjoyed it so much 8 years ago. My husband wants to buy an RV when he retires so that we can visit the other parks we haven't seen together yet. I really want to see Donna's book!

Look right under the picture of the quilt above. There is a link that says Download Jackie Padesky Pineapple Quilt. That takes you right to the pattern.

How do I download the pineapple pattern. Couldn't find the link?

Do you know the ethnic Chinese hang pineapple ornaments during the Lunar New Year, aka Chinese New Year as it symbolises prosperity? They also make cakes and tarts using pineapple as the filling.

Beautiful Yellows! My favorite color~ Every room in my home with exception of baths are yellow! And of course yellow on the outside too! The pineapple is a fun way to display the sunshine! ~Looking forward to seeing some of the fun that you are creating with your hexies - something I've yet to try.

Awesome Megan!!! And Mary Ann it is perfect!
