This was a super block to start us off. Thank you.

Debra Douglas

A GREAT BIG THANK YOU for all the inspiration you give us to try new techniques and also get our UFOs completed and having fun along the way. I like the contemporary and anything in blue I like....even though I need to challenge myself to try to buy and use other colors besides blue and pink.

Very excited to be doing this Pat... great block to start us off

Diana Ensign

I love both groups of colors! The traditional group makes me feel warm, and are soft fall colors. Love the pink with the browns and the burgundy color ray. They are my favorite. The Contemporary colors put me into
spring. Light, bright and a colorful ray of colors. I'm really excited
working on this project and seeing what others put together in their blocks.

Bobbie Parkin

I love the contemporary ones ! I hope I can do these !

This is great! Unfortunately I rushed at my block before I saw your note saying stitch beside the diagonal line, but I'm sure it will work out fine nonetheless!

I just printed the pattern ! I can do this ! Going to use scraps . Thank you so much for a fun project!

Ok pattern downloaded and printed. I like the tip on using a square to help make a heart. I am slow, but trying something new for me. I have almost finished cutting out all the fabric needed to finish the 2015 quilt blocks. A plastic bag for each block. I love hand sewing I can do it watching tv. Now I guess I will have to insert a heart between sewing the blocks. Really enjoy your blogs and all the others that love talking about it.

Dianne Fleck

Love it already! We're on a roll! Thanks!

Hello, I have done block one as far as cutting out fabric and joined squares together (. Ie 4x7 inches ) and they went together like a dream, but when I measure them they are 3.5 x7.5 and the print out says 6.5 square can any one tell me what I am doing wrong or should I just trim them back. Never done anything as small as this before has completely got me foxed.. I did the block for the sample case but do not know how to up load the photo and as well as that Face Book is playing up at the moment. Help.

Love the peach colors of the traditional pack.

My first needle turn appliqué since cataract surgery. A challenge for sure. I still love appliqué, although needed this easy heart to get back in shape. Maybe I'll let only old people see it. Smile. Thank you!

Thanks for an easy one, Pat!

Precioso bloque de San Valentine.

I'm going to use this to restore my sanity from all of the crazy things going on around my place! I figure if I can get a few minutes twice a week to be alone with my sewing machine and work on something fun like this, life will smooth out. Thanks!

Cathy Radcliffe

Happy Valentine's Day everyone. Pat thanks for this fun QAL!
