Do you mind if I quote a couple of your posts as long as I provide credit and sources back to your site? My blog site is in the very same niche as yours and my users would really benefit from some of the information you present here. Please let me know if this alright with you. Appreciate it!

The blog Quilt Taffy had another one just the other day. Worth checking out!

Thanks for including my advent calendar in your round up!! It's such a fun tradition for our family.

love all the advents!

I have a panel that I added borders to and each day an ornament is buttoned onto the tree. I usually get DD one of those Advent calendars where you open the little window to get a chocolate. She still loves them. Need to get that to her ASAP.

My "someday" Advent calendar is a quilted tree with buttons and small wooden ornaments to add each day. I have the ornaments ;-)

my mom had one for us when we were kids. I did it with mine when the kids were little... made little boxes from previous year's Christmas cards and filled with little goodies. I need to start that with DGS. December has just snuck up on me this year! Both my girls came to me excited because they each found and purchased a pickle ornament! my grandmother used to hide and re-hide one on the tree each year and the child to find it each morning got a special treat! I still have the pickle and it will go on the tree next weekend when we set up.

Our advent calendar is an appliquéd nutcracker that I surrounded with 3 D triangles, so the little gifties need to be small... usually candy but with perhaps gold earrings in the final one. Not sure how to add a photo here?

My advent calendar is quilted, I made it years ago. I don't even remember where I got the pattern, but it has a background quilt you hang on the wall and has 25 little quilts (about 4" squares) you tuck into the quilt every day. I personalized the little foundation pieced quilts for our family and it it one of our favorite traditions. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=76467372030&set=a.76466457030.91187.664972030&type=3&theater
