Pat Sloan now onto some squares

My sewing area is a TOTAL disaster zone of about 15 projects going on AT ONCE.. seriously how can I do that many AT ONCE. I have 3 quilt fabric piles on the sewing machine table, 2 projects in envelopes, my table bowl is filled, and I have a stack of montly blocks to do.

And on top of it all.. I want to sew mindlessly.. and I even told you to cut 400 squares 2.5" x 2.5" so you could sew with me.

Yep.. I'm nuts.

In class on Saturday a few of the gals informed me their squares are cut, so now what?

Now.. what ... indeed.

So if you are reading this (you know.. with your breakfast or lunch break... or just any ole time).. then you get a head start!

Next you need to select a group of fabrics in a similar color.

I'm going to with cream tonals. That is my stack .. which includes my lond 'Hoared' Paris Flea Market map.. oh I love that fabric! But I digress.

You can get ahead by cutting 80 squares 4.5" x 4.5"

I'm IN Pat! I have squares per cut like Dixie too. AND I also have several projects on my sewing table!

I already have tons of squares cut ala scrap system by Bonnie Hunter. So I'm ready to go on this one.

I have oodles and oodles already in my stash so I am definitely in. And don't feel you are alone with lots of projects in your work space. I have four or five going now!

I think I may be in.....400 squares...hmm! I already have been cutting random squares to make Katy's Scrap Vomit so what a few hundred more. Have a great day Pat!
