"What holiday gifts do you buy for your pets or someone else's pets?"
"I always buy doggie toys for my sweet dog. She likes to go around with her toys 'sharing' them with everybody. Such a clown."
Sweetwater's snowman kit goes to Miss Jean who answered
" What is your current FAVORITE quilt you have made"
"That's a difficult question. I think it's always the quilt I just finished."
Carrie's ruler and Mystery box goes to Barb Johnson who answered
"Tell me your biggest quilting problem"
"My biggest quilting problem is lack of space!! When my middle kid went to college, I promptly turned her room into my sewing room. But then she graduated and moved back home to hunt for a job. I love having her here ^.^, but I really miss my sewing room:< Anyone know of anyone looking for an archivist? Or a librarian? She has a Master's degree in Library and Information Science.... and she's really good at what she does, and she's a hard worker! And then I could have my sewing room back.... "
And my New Year's Eve Prize goes to Karissa who answered
"Tell me your Favorite dish to make in YOUR crock pot!"
"My favorite is so easy - corn on the cob! Throw some fresh husked corn on the cob standing on ends in there on low for two hours, and it's perfect!"
Now I want to try this!!!!
Thank you so much for reading my blog and being part of my quilter community!

Congratulations to all the winners! Great way to start the new year!
Since I don't have a crock pot, here's my little suggestion for corn on the cob. I get the little frozen cobs (about 4") and put them in a glass baking dish. I sprinkle low-cal Italian dressing over them and put a cover on top of the dish. Then put the whole thing in the microwave for 8-9 minutes and enjoy!

Congratulations to all the winners! Lola is adorable but my first love is our bulldog Spike, sweet as can be and oh so very bulldog stubborn. Somedays you would think he has never heard English before as he stares you down. Too funny!

I'm in love with Lola too but I have a huge soft spot for bulldogs! My friends had one and he was just completely mad. I still miss him.

Lovely Lola! L-O-L-A Lola! Giggle. Humming a tune here. I have a very long list of quilts I'd love to make -- like Nosegay. Love that block. Best wishes in the new year.
