Now I want more baskets and a cute giant bowl too. I am glad UFO busting is coming up, cause I am not busting anything here.

Casandra

okay I've just got to ask: Are you really Pat Sloan or a staffie preparing all the social media stuff behind the scenes? When I saw your name on the link list at Crazy Mom Quilts, I just couldn't believe that the real Pat Sloan would have the time to post much less share the inner sanctum in all its glory. You've given me courage to share mine--maybe posting about it will help me decide what's working and what's not in my new sewing room. By the way, I have a flopsy ceramic bowl like yours and they are so dang cute + handy!!

Stephanie in MI

Your new glasses look great. The tours are always fun. Thanks for that, too. I love that crossword and camera fabric!

Barb Johnson

Now that the holidays are over, I need to move back into my sewing room (aka the dining room). Of course, I've managed to lose a bunch of project essentials that I put in a very logical place. Which made perfect sense at the time, but of course I don't remember it now. I like the basket idea - I could put everything for one project in one container so I wouldn't lose pieces/parts. Of course, I'd probably lose the whole thing... ^.^

The green border looks FABULOUS. I was distracted from posting that day but I'm pretty sure I wasn't leaning toward that green! So glad you shared the pic. Love the new glasses, too!

Heidi @ Fabric Mutt

So fun to see your goodies, especially the ones from the City Quilter. Love that last quilt top too!

Linda

I have such a mess on my cutting table---the fabric must be having young ones....I need to get to IKEA to see what kind of storage I can find..I love your boxes..I want to move into a bedroom and out of my sunroom so I can get it all out of the downstairs....I wish there was a HGTV show that designed sewing rooms--why they don't have a show like that is beyond me.....I look everyday to see if they are coming....

Four dogs and one quilter

Love the stripes and the border on your quilt.

HelenMarie in TN

I love your new glasses! They really compliment your look!

Love the striped fabric too! Whenever I see some I usually pick up a yard for the stash.

I'm still working on trying to organize (sigh) picked up some baskets to sort stuff in, but they have handles and don't stack well (sigh) Keeping busy with work and church and family stuff... I really need to schedule a me day at home to get things back in order... you do NOT want to see what my sewing room looks like! I should just but "Danger Zone" sign on the door and close it!

Debra Davis

Love the new glasses! I am adjusting to a new pair myself- progressives, love 'em, but for the first few days things are a little weird.

Thanks for sharing Camp Sloanie-you always inspire me to get back to work in my own studio. And I too love the border choice- it really does a nice job of letting the main thing stand out as the main thing.

Happy Friday!

Mary Ann

A visit to camp Sloanie tours always make me feel a bit better about my own chaos, which reach epic proportions recently pulling fabric for the Scrappytripalong! Gotta spend the afternoon folding and finding a way to fit it back on the shelfs!

Pat Sloan

I'm realler than real.. don't you think... wink!

Eileen DiPietro

Thanks for the tour! I will be in NYC this weekend myself and I would never miss an opportunity to visit the City Quilter because there is always something that I “need” from there!!!

Juanita

I love Camp Sloanie. It's got such a good feel to it.

Linda P

Great post today - I now feel much better!
Awesome choice on the inner border, I made those other pics bigger before and wasn't liking the red or other green, and on my computer the one you selected didn't look green, so hard to select from computer screen. Your boxes cracked me up.... red on the Santa.... yeah, I would have said that!

Lisa Vecellio Haines

I love your new glasses. Very trendy. You look great!

Debbie Gallett

The green turned out great. It is just really hard to tell colors on the computer.

Karen

"swimming through cold molasses" that is a new one for I hadn't heard it and it put a smile on my face.
I got new glasses 3 weeks ago and it took me about 4 days to get used to them as well - it must be something about new glasses.
I will be ready to start cutting into that fabric bundle I won from you soon, I just need to finish up one more quilt that is will be to the binding stage in one or two more weeks.

Karen Lieberman

I love your baskets for organizing. I have a collection of baskets too! I use them in just about every room for organizing stuff. And those stripes are to die for!!
