Here we go... New Years EVE!!!! 

Does this day excite you as much as it does me? I have ALWAYS looked forward to closing out the year and starting a new one! Sometimes my year is amazing and wonderful and I like to look back and celebrate it.... maybe by ordering a big bundle of fabric (wink!) Sometime it was not the best year ever and I just want that clock to hit midnight so I can close the year and open a new one.

What about  'resolutions' or goals? Do you set them?  To be honest I used to, but don't anymore.  I find it too stressful to have a major announcement of what I will do. That doesn't mean I don't have goals, they are  just not attached to the start of the year. 

Mostly today and tomorrow is a party! For the last 8 years or so I've hosted a VIRTUAL Quilt along right here on YOUR computer! I call it a Quilting Luaua because that's more fun to say than just a sew along.

• I am going to finish Lola's doggie quilt
• and then finish quilting my Secret Garden.. yes.. it is NOT DONE.. seriously what is wrong with me not finishing it?  But the next 2 days I will complete it.

Pat, I keep meaning to tell you that I enjoy your Quilting Radio while I quilt. I listen while I cut, piece and press, but pause it when I use the sewing machine. I can't hear anything when the machine's running! My daughter heard one of the radio broadcasts yesterday while I was sewing and she said you sound like such a young and energetic person.

hope you are home safe and warm by now - it's a long drive from New Orleans!
I have had a quilt 'on the frame' since mid November - and that quilt is at least 10 years old already - so my goal is to have it finished before the day is through..
