My buddy Victoria Findlay Wolfe recommended this... she is wicked like that... but I do thank her!
This has to be the BEST STUFF I've tried in a LONG LONG LONGGGGGGGGGGGGG time.. and my grocery store carries it!!
I may have to make a quilt in it's honor, it's THAT GOOD.
And comes in WAY more flavors I can try!
I took the Salted Caramel to an Ocktoberfest party.. and it was a HUGE hit. That was when I discovered the lids TWIST OFF..
TWIST OFF.. did you hear me???
And the container is PLASTIC!
Do you know what that means?
STORAGE containers!!!!!
I scooted around the internet and found this photo at Melissa's blog on how she is using them to store food.. but I am thinking a MASSIVE DISPLAY of
- RickRack
- Buttons
- Binding
- Trims
- Pins
- what else?
Read what Melissa wrote http://melissakranzo.com/2011/01/another-reason-to-eat-gelato/
Have you tried this yet? I'm starting a collection
for research purposes
and storage
that's my story...
and I'm sticking to it
ps.. their Facebook page

Thank you, Pat, for the tip on Talenti gelato. I just finished my first research project, aka Belgian Milk Chocolate, and plan to do more research very soon! It's delicious and now I have another storage container.

Nice to know I am not the only one doing my duty to provide more storage in my home. I "only" have 12 Sea Salt Caramel containers so far but I am determined to stay tough and sacrifice for the betterment of storage society.

the double dark chocolate is the best!! The best ever! We store crayons and chalk in the containers.

I really should try more of the other flavors - I don't seem to be able to get past the Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip - kinda like salt, when you run out of it you need to go to the store and get more. Yep, I use the niffty little plastic jars to freeze my leftover nuts. Love this Gelato. Judy C

I love gelato but have never bought any other than in a shop where they make their own. I am going to have to see if I can buy this at a store here. I have been using plastic food containers with screw off lids for a long time to store sewing notions. It works great as you can see what is in them.

I tried the chocolate this evening for dessert. Yum!!! Now I on a mission to try all of the favors. My hips hate you.

I agree that the gelato is REALLY good. And what a great excuse to buy more! ;)

Their site say Fred Meyer and Safeway both carry it. I will definitely be checking the stores here in Anchorage. I love Gelato. Some of my favorite memories in Italy involve Gelato.

I haven't seen that product but from the labels they do sound yummy. great way to recycle. I use glass jars for some of sewing stuff.

I looked up the store locator & found that 3 stores near me carry it....I need to do some research of my own!! What a bonus having a storage container at the end

My husband recently discovered that stuff too and he's totally addicted. I;m lucky that I'm allergic to it because I have no will power! But I have been saving all of the containers.

Such a shame you have to eat all that gelato just to get the storage containers. I hope that's not too much of a chore. LOL

OH! I just checked and my store has it too! I must try the salted caramel-I love that combo. The storage container idea is a definite bonus. LOL. Someone had a brilliant marketing idea there!

I'm on my way to the store for research supplies! I love the look of these. I'm currently converting one of the boy's bedrooms into my "studio" and these would be great. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the tip. I have to eat gluten free and it is hard to find stuff. This is great

Wet blanket. Consumer Reports warns about reusing plastic containers which originally held food, especially those containing dairy or meat (Trying to remember here.) It's the way certain bacteria decide to live in the plastic. Buttons and rick-rack should survive.

I am totally with you on the storage part of this as well. When I opened that first container, I too thought of it as an extra added benefit!! Mine is also in my studio for things just like you are suggesting! Here's to Victoria and Talenti... Cheers!

One can never have too many storage containers. I better look up where to find this locally. ;)
