Your biggest Stumbling blocks are also my biggest stumbling blocks at times
We have
- lack of interest in the current project
- a lust to doing something new
- too many ufos we feel sufficated
- crappy work enviroments.. and we KNOW how hard it is to work when our space is crap
- lack of time.. or perceived lack of time
- fear.... fear of failure... fear of perfection (or not being perfect).. fear of using the 'right' fabric ... fear of messing up
I hear you.. I have been there too...may be there again....
It's the weekend... I'm working out of town...
if have some sewing time... may the "Fabric Force" be with you!

you have a great attitude Wanda.. take life and enjoy it!

Wow does that ever sum it up.I have a project 3/4 done on my planning wall and have been busy doing anything but finishing the one on the wall.I have come across several UFO projects and a couple are designated to be donated.
Guilty I am trying a new block for a quilt I need to get done in a hurry.I am not alone.

I Stumbled when dissatisfaction with work space arises. I make an "appointment" to take a corner and whip it into shape 30 minutes max. Then back to current project.
That is when, the latest acquisition starts to laugh evilly at me. Mwahahahahaa.
I want to play with the new, but forcing myself to finish current top so it too may join the others ready to quilt "when I have time"

I do find it so hard to walk away when I don't like something anymore. It just sits in the pile and makes guilty.

You can condense that list down even further. Our biggest stumbling block is all 100+ pounds of us. All of the above is what we constantly tell ourselves as excuses, except maybe losing interest which is just a manifestation of our fickle whims. I say "Evil self-defeating talk begone!" Let's just do it or decided we don't want to and stand up for our decision making powers. I'll still fiddle around, but at least when I stumble, I'll get back up.
