Latest "happy" purchase was some polka dots and red with little circles that remind me of bicycle wheels to go into a Christmas exchange block.

Oh I'm so into brights. They are so much fun. My daughter came over, you know the one, the one that loves pastels, she spied your Eat Your Fruits & Veggies Batiks jelly roll on my dinning room table, (yeah, cuz that's where one should keep their fruits and veggies) and went CRAZY over the beautiful colors. I would say they really made her sing!

Love the quilt!!! I've been experimenting in solids right now. It's been hard to step away from prints but I'm enjoying the challenge. I do have brights in my stash that are calling me. On Mondays, your radio show is my excuse to go to my sewing room and sew while listening. I enjoy listening to the old shows while I'm sewing too. You have a fun job!

The little Sew and Vac store in our town is closing, so we went to their final sale to help clear out stock. Bought a bunch of "stuff" (thread, tassels, rick rack, etc.), as well as two yards of a bright turquoise print scattered with wildly colored Aloha shirts. It's completely impractical, but it made me smile.
