What a fun applique workshop in Hampton VA today! My class took to fusible applique lickety split. Many of them wanted to work on perfecting their technique... so my sample project was put to very good use.
We had the added energy at the convention center of a scrapbook show and gun show...so it was an interesting mix of people!
I had the added joy of a friend from the area stopping in that I have not seen in a long time...I love when that happens!
Several of us had lunch at the embassy suites... and the food was excellent... which did surprise me...as it was Really good!
At the end of the a new crop of applique quilters have gone forth to create amazing things...it .makes my heart sing!
