My dog ate my crayons. Yes, he did. He ate the box of Prang crayons and left behind my box of Crayola. My husband and I were laughing about it just last night. Seriously, I am definitely enjoying my quilty life and I'm always making something. Makes me "Sew Happy" when I am sewing, stitching, quilting. :-)

I've been trying to go beyond my comfort zone. I'm finding that orange isn't too bad a color, that I'm liking reds, solids, greys, and browns. It's been enlightening.

Love the quote. The hardest part for me is when I get down to the very stub end of a favorite crayon and then I have to use it up! I guess I have to remember there are always more crayons out there. :)

Lately I've been working on lots of Halloween stuff for the shop so I have been using just a few crayons. I need more colors.

Looking at my quilt on my blog post, you'd think I used the entire large box of crayons. http://adventureswiththread.blogspot.com/2012/08/to-be-finished.html
I used your "Crooked Cabins" book for instruction...and I love it! This crooked cabin quilt won't be my last.

I'm using 30's fabrics for the 1st time in years and years. I've been using CW reproductions and batiks mostly. So, I've changed the crayons. Love the quote.
