Oh, yeah! I love to get a new planner every January and make the plans for the coming year. Due in part to health issues last spring, I was totally behind. My planner was a mess. I didn't like looking at because so many plans made did not happen. The answer? When I went off to retreat/vacation in early August, I hit the school supplies section at Wal-Mart and found the perfect planner......a July 2012 to January 2012 one with plenty of lines/times to enter projects and appointments. I never thought of it as blowing up the old one, but that is basically what I did. Yep, I started over, entered some projects on new dates, scratched plans for others. On my list of must do's.......finish your Seasons of Grace Stocking quilt by this Christmas. :-)And a gazillion other projects, too!

Just read your newsletter! I just love, love, love your new book. I ordered it and can't wait to look at it close up. I have the Believe quilt (from looooong ago) all done and put together, but I'm doing a long stitch for the quilting and using perle cotton so it is just sitting waiting for me to stop starting all these other projects. Now I want to make your batik one. It is beautiful!!!

"you've run into that haven't you? where your job/personal/charity schedule is just too much.... to many tasks for one person?"

Gosh, Pat... that's my everyday job! LOL And I did almost walk away because of it this week, but came home recharged overnite and was okay ... at least for one more day LOL

Oh Pat! What an awesome idea-blow the schedule up and rewrite it! I love it! Good luck with your new, clean slate. I just might try that!
