Do you keep your scraps, chunks and bits of fabric. Big and small?
Do you throw them in a bin like I do? This is my 'bowl of trash' on my cutting table.
In my "Hugs and Kisses" workshop I teach you how to take your PILE OF TRASH
and make....
.... a FREE quilt! Seriously fun stuff!
No rules... no measuring... no ripping out seams
I was just in Colorado Springs teaching this workshop... take a look...
Here are some of the Fun blocks that were made during class!
Do you see some of the orphan blocks.. people were SO EXCITED to be able to do that! Incorporate orphan blocks into your quilts and it's a WIN WIN all around.
Jann even wrote me "Thank you so much for the amazing classes. I feel so much more freedom to try everything. If something goes wrong just cut it up and try again. You really changed my life!"
WOW! Want to take a workshop with me?

I'd love to come sew with you!
I loved reading all your travel stories on my blog tour day for Angela Yosten's book "Stop, Go, Quilt, Sew"! The winner of a copy of Angela's book is...
Sarah who wrote "We went camping for a month each summer and went all over the US. I remember one night we were driving down a country road going to the Mississippi River. It was so dark and the trees came up right to both edges of the road. The road was hilly and we thought that every hill meant we were going to drive off into the river. Of course, I don't remember the end, just the scary part. lol "

Love seeing the blocks from your workshop! These were so fun to sew & trade on the Mashup Forum, but to see you create a whole class on this is even fun ner!

I keep all of my little scraps now, from every sewing project, since I've seen what awesome things can be created from a lot of "nearly nothing!" :)

Yippee! Thanks for the book. I'm sure I'll find lots of projects for my grandson. Having a boy myself, I have always been on the hunt for boy "stuff." It's great to have designers looking out for our boys! Thanks, Angela, for sharing your creativity.
