At the learning center this week our Easy Peasy Summery Breezy Quilt Along block is
"Ride Bikes All Day"
Do you remember doing that in the summer? Not only that we would turn our bikes upside down and they became an ice cream truck... not sure WHY but they did!
Did you look forward to the icecream truck's arrival?
I am pretty sure our local truck looked like this.
My brother always got a sky blue ice pop... but you know I can't remember what I got! I remember his because his whole mouth turned blue.. about the color blue in my quilt!
What is YOUR favorite Ice-cream?
Family portrait...
Have you laid yours out yet?
Are you keeping up?
Did you put them in the flickr folder so you can win some prizes?
Wanted to be SURE you saw that bit.. you know.. the PRIZE bit...

Seeing the Good Humor truck brought back a lot of memories. I had two favorites, one was the bomb pop, it was red, white and blue and shaped like a rocket. My second favorite was orange sherbet in a cone shaped container with a piece of bubble gum at the very bottom of the cup. Now my favorite ice cream is anything with chocolate and caramel! :-)

Love the jacobs ladder block!
My favorite ice cream as a kid... when the truck came along (not good humor... but Mr. Softie) he made "rabbit ears" one cone with two ice cream epaks...one ear dipped in chocolate and the other in strawberry! YUM!

I loved the Dreamsicles - mmmmmmmmm!! I can almost taste it!! I liked the Good Humor bars too, but the chocolate shells melted too fast to eat in the summer and made a mess........... got to plan these things, you know!! LOL!!!!

I loved a 7-Up Bullet from the "ding ding man". At school and summer church camp my favorite was ice cream sandwiches. Great memories!
