I HAD to have it... isn't it FUN?

I only got a 1/2 yd .. but now that I OWN it I need more.

Doing a little auditioning

Can you tell what for? It will be for a friend.. SHHH.. Don't TELL HER!!!  It's my friend that LOVES FISH!!! And of course if she see's this auditioning.. she will ASSUME I will be making it right away and giving it to her...

If that fish fabric doesn't make you smile nothing will. It's fantastic. Or maybe it's fishtastic. Oh Pat, I also wanted to say thanks again for Jane Sassaman's book. It's wonderful!!! I've learning some great stuff and plan to make a quilt from it. I posted about it and your blog. Thanks!!

Love the license plate! I have a vanity plate, too. Not only is it TCU, but it says SIS DJ. In my Dear Jane group there are 2 Sarahs. I live in south TX, she lives up north TX. She's SIN and I'm SIS -Sarah in South. I do love Dear Jane.

Have a fun & safe trip! I am guessing it is going to be a table topper :) And yes, I have those same issues of just having to have something like when it is amazing fabric and it is on sale and there are like just 4 yards left on the bolt, I end up finishing the bolt, it was a great deal ok...lol. And I figure I "know" I can use it in something since I love it, I better take it all, so no one else can hahaha :p
PS...I know your friend will love whatever it is you are making for her :)

During a quilt retreat in Vermont, my friend had a dream about cows. Since then, I give her "cow" presents at every opportunity - cow fabric, cow dolls, cow embroidery, cow booties, cow fabric and more cow fabric!
