Today I'm heading up to Vermont to the Vermont Quilt Festival!
By the time you read this I should be on the road.. the Shipping Department/Moto pool/Van Driver is at the helm and I'm all packed and ready to teach for 4 days!! PLUS I have a presentation Saturday night.. and I hear your admission includes a door prize ticket.. fun eh?
I have my trusty Namaste purse with me, in 'Eggplant' now.
Do you remember that I used to have a lime green one? I wore it out!
When you come to my workshops you'll see these "Oh Snap" mesh bags
I am IN LOVE with them. They are so light and I can stuff them to keep organized in my workshop travel case. They come in Pink and Grey and several sizes. Green case is also from the clever people at Namaste!
When they sent me my goodies they also included one of these bags made from..
now get this.. made from BILLBOARDS!
This is what they say about these bags
"What to do with heavy duty coated canvas billboards that have been taken down and would otherwise go to a landfill? Make a tote- a Billboard tote! These bags are super roomy and have one open top pocket on the interior. Like all Cop Madam products, each tote is one-of-a-kind and features a variety of images or text- spontaneous and fun! Each Billboard tote comes with a notecard including the name of the woman who made it by hand. Dimensions (may vary slightly): L = 19" W = 4" H = 14" Materials: recycled billboard made of coated nylon canvas"
While I'm gone I'll be posting from my photo to FACEBOOK and TWITTER... and maybe instagram.. woot! I will share on my blog too...
I sure hope you stop in to see me at my workshops in Vermont.. or come to my presentation on Saturday night!!!

Love your purse! I have an eggplant purse that comes out in December and a beautiful green one that I use in the fall. The billboard purse is so cute. Wish I was going to be in Burlington as it's one of my favorite places on earth. Have fun and don't forget to pick up some maple syrup. Dakin Farms has a shop in South Burlington. They have the best syrup, cheese, jelly, spreads and meats. Best of all you get to sample everything!
