Michele came up with this REALLY AWESOME IDEA to have a
Summer Time Quilt-ALong at the Learning Center.
But not any ole quilt along..
but a EASY PEASY It's summer and I don't want to think too HARD Quilt-ALong
And even better than that... it's so easy new quilters can follow along AND Michele is doing a tutorial for EACH BLOCK
Have not sewn for awhile? Jump in the waters great!
Want a new quilt by Sept.. maybe for a CHRISTMAS GIFT???? mmmm???
sounding better and better isn't it?
The blocks will be given out each Thursday. And we'll have 2 settings...
she gives you ALL the details HERE
I have some of the same fabrics Michele has ..
Coquette from Moda (YUMMY)
BUT I am also itching to show you how my "Eat your Fruits and Veggies" will look in these blocks.
Then you'll have yet ANOTHER quilt to make with the fabric when it arrives in a few months!
Which fabric do you think I should use..
or should I use both lines do TWO quilts?
Oh I almost FORGOT... there will be chances to win prizes
really really REALLY nice prices
like a V100 Iron from my friends at Reliable

I would try one with just your fabric (so cheerful) and then another project using
the two lines together. Thanks for askin'

I would say Eat your Fruits and Veggies. Even as a small child I loved my fruits and veggies. Hominy was and still is the only one that I don't like.

I like the Eat your Fruits and Veggies. I like bright colors and am not as wild about the florals in that line. Now much of a pink gal here, I guess.

Great idea - for YOU to do two quilts in one summer.... and I wish I could join you - love to see your new fabrics made up!
I'll be busy most of the summer so no quilt-a-longs fore me! I'll try to follow along and see the progress, tho!

my choice would be your fabric, they are so beautiful and vibrant, so you will just have to do two......specially the yellow and white with the red....wow...gonna save my money.....

Love both your choices, but if only 1 quilt I'd use your line. But 2 is better than 1.

I absolutely LOVE that pink with the blue, red and cocoa. What is that called? I will buy some for sure!

I think you should use your new line. It is very bright and colorful! Then you have something to show off "Eat your fruits and veggies".

The top set but only if you get some of the lime green and brown that are in the pink fabric.

I agree with Kathy - do both lines. Then one can do the on-point layout and the other can be the straight row.s
Lovely fabrics.

I think two quilts will keep you busy and this way we can be sure to see the Eat Your Fruits and Veggies line.
